| I used to be a wildland firefighter. My camera was always with me while I was out in the field and I soon discovered I was better at shooting photos than snuffing flames. So I went back to school to study photojournalism. That led to a job producing television news. Which eventually led to a job as a radio reporter/producer for Oregon Public Broadcasting, the local NPR affiliate. Luckily, that job involved shooting news photos too. Which gave me a chance to photograph all sorts of cool events and people. I also became an expert in audio editing and production. Combining that with my photography, I've produced dozens of award winning multimedia audio slideshows and web content over the years. During this time, I also completed the Professional Photographer course at the New York Institute of Photography. And that's where I discovered my passion for photographing swimwear, fashion, and beauty. I'm now a full-time, professional photographer who specializes in commercial work and model portfolios. |
